Fasting guidance
Fasted shows a typical fasting timeline by hours fasted. Bodies vary: the app tracks time, not what is happening inside you.
Before you start
Check with a clinician before prolonged fasting, or if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, have an eating-disorder history, diabetes or kidney disease, or take medicines affected by fasting.
While you fast
- Finish whenever it feels right. There is no need to push through feeling unwell.
- Seek urgent help for severe symptoms such as fainting, confusion, chest pain or trouble breathing.
